This hotel is an excellent value for the price. Totally remodeled one year ago in a modern "minimalist" decor, it turned out to be the cleanest budget hotel we have ever stayed in. Spotless and squeaky clean, new linens and great beds. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was adequate for having been included in the price of the room. We would definitely stay at the Real Del Patrocinio again and can highly recommend it as a budget choice in Zacatecas.
The location, although only two blocks from the Cathedral and Plaza de Armas, was uphill and may present problems for some guests. Some type of counter space in the huge bathroom would be a plus.

Well renovated old building, helpful staff, calming classical music playing in public areas. Short walk to Cathedral, longer back as uphill. Car parking. Extremely good value for money. Breakfast available to suit our needs.

The location is just perfect. It is within walking distance to most tourist attarctions and restaurants making it very convenient for travellers. The hotel also looks classic, very localized and the staffs too are very friendly and helpful.
It lacks hot water, making shower a bit cahllenging during cold seasons.

Had to ask for towels, hangers and hair drier. Supplied promptly but should not need to be reminded.
